Applied Microbial Remidiation Technician (AMRT)


​​Prerequisite: (IICRC Certification in WRT) The Applied Microbial Remediation Technician course covers mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals engaged in property management, property restoration, IEQ investigations or other related professions. Emphasis will be placed on teaching mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Course graduates will be adequately equipped to perform remediation services, while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants.   (4 day course; 28 hours, not including exam time, lunch and breaks)   Certification:  IICRC


Health and Safety Technician (HST)


​The Health and Safety Technician class is a must for anyone performing restoration or mold remediation! This course is provided to increase safety in your workplace and reduce your company’s risk of costly fines and penalties. It is also designed to put you ahead in the restoration industry to show insurance companies you and your staff are ahead of the competition regarding health and safety. Topics to be covered are: OSHA standards, Inspections, Citations and Penalties, Record keeping, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Hazard Communication, Hazardous Materials, Confined Spaces, and Bloodborne Pathogens. (2 day course; 14 hours, not including exam time, lunch and breaks)   Certification:  OSHA



Xactimate Estimating 280


​Xactimate® training administered by an Xactimate Affiliate Trainer with technical knowledge of the trade, industry knowledge, and estimating software. Learn not only the software but also how it relates to the actual restoration work being performed. Acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to quickly create accurate estimates using a variety of Xactimate tools. Students will learn to efficiently set up, dimension, scope and deliver professional estimates through valuable *hands-on training. Students completing this program will be prepared to challenge the Xactimate Level 1 and 2 user certification exams offered through Xactware.  Length:  3 days   Certification:  Xactware



Advanced Xactimate Estimating 283


​Acquire the knowledge and practical skills necessary to quickly create accurate estimates using a variety of Xactimate tools in one of the only estimating programs in the world that is taught during a live water loss. Students will estimate a project in real time as the work is completed. This three-day Intermediate estimating course is taught by Sean M. Burgess, an Xactimate Certified Trainer (XCT), who has experience working in both the insurance and restoration fields. Participants will learn how to efficiently set up, dimension, scope and deliver professional estimates through valuable hands-on training using real-world data while a flood is being responded to live in a training environment. This is for beginning to intermediate Xactimate level students who are or will be actively working in a restoration environment. Students completing this program will be prepared to challenge the Xactimate Level 1 and 2 user certification exams offered through Xactware.  Length: 3 days   Certification: Xactware



Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT)


The IICRC-approved Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) course is designed to teach the art and science of carpet cleaning to professional service providers, as well as others in related industries.  Emphasis is placed on practical application, identifying fiber, yarn and carpet constructions, style types and finishes, soiling conditions, cleaning science and methodology, and other issues and concerns faced by individuals who maintain and clean installed broadloom carpet.  When coupled with additional on-the-job training and field experience, students should be adequately prepared to perform carpet cleaning techniques and procedures. They also should be adequately prepared to accomplish further training in other IICRC-approved courses, which require CCT as a prerequisite.  The course is designed to cover pre-inspection, fabric identification, basic cleaning chemicals and equipment, and proper cleaning techniques and procedures with a residential and light commercial emphasis.  (2 day course; 14 hours, not including exam time, lunch and breaks)   Certification:  IICRC


Oriental Rug Cleaning (Fast Track Course)


​Fast Track trains your technicians in the things they need to know now to safely and effectively clean specialty rugs. The one day course format means the technician takes minimal time out of production. From the identification of the rug to cleaning the fringe, this course will teach you what to focus on and what to watch out for without overcomplicating the process with rug origin studies.  1 Continued Education Credit



Carpet Repair & Reinstallation Technician (RRT)


The Carpet Repair and Reinstallation Technician course teaches techniques and safety issues related to carpet repair and re-installation, carpet construction, inspection process prior to cleaning, tools of the trade, floor preparation, adhesives, carpet cushion installation, tackless strip and moldings, seaming, and proper stretching. This class also teaches various repairs that the carpet cleaner/restorer may come up against while dealing with an installed textile. This knowledge will enable the technician to recognize and avoid installation problems that may arise while performing carpet cleaning as well as how to correct many issues encountered. (2 day course; 16 hours, not including lunch and breaks, exam time is included)  Certification:  IICRC



Commercial Carpet Maintenance Technician (CCMT)


The Commercial Carpet Maintenance Technician course teaches entry-level commercial carpet cleaning techniques to individuals engaged in the maintenance of commercial facilities. In addition to the basics of carpet construction, emphasis will be placed on teaching the IICRC S100 carpet cleaning methodologies, safety procedures, and pro-active techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Course graduates will have a basic understanding of the importance of preventative, interim, restorative and salvage cleaning and how they contribute to the overall success of the commercial carpet maintenance program. (2 day course; 14 hours, not including exam time, lunch and breaks)  Certification:  IICRC



Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning Technician (UFT)


The Upholstery and Fabric Cleaning Technician course covers upholstery fiber categories, fiber identification and testing, manufacturing of the fiber and fabric, chemistry of cleaning, upholstery cleaning methods, protections, spotting and potential problems. A student will have a specific knowledge about fabric and fiber content, as well as furniture construction. This enables students to identify limitations and potential cleaning related problems, on a given piece of upholstery. (2 day course; 14 hours, not including exam time, lunch and breaks)  Certification:  IICRC



Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT)


The Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician course concentrates on technical procedure for successfully completing the restoration of a fire and smoke damaged environment. Students will learn how to combine technical procedures with a practical approach to managing the job site and how that relates to pricing the job. (2 day course; 14 hours, not including exam time, lunch and breaks)  Certification:  IICRC



Odor Control Technician (OCT)


The Odor Control Technician course covers olfaction and odor, odor sources, detection process, theory of odor control, equipment, chemical options and applications. The student will learn how to address odors caused from biological sources such as decomposition, urine contamination, and mold, combustion sources such as fire and smoke damage, and chemical sources such as fuel oil spills or volatile organic chemicals. (1 day course; 7 hours, not including exam time, lunch and breaks)  Certification:  IICRC



Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)


The Water Damage Restoration Technician course is designed to teach restoration personnel that perform remediation work to give them a better concept of water damage, it’s effects and techniques for drying of structures. This course will give residential and commercial maintenance personnel the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination such as mold. (3 day course; 19 hours, not including exam time, lunch and breaks)  Certification:  IICRC



Carpet Repair Workshop (CRW)


​Nothing but HANDS-ON EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING with Constant Performance Assessment and optional Certification with ICRA!  An intense day of extensive hands-on acquisition and evaluation of many common repairs such as:  surface grafting and permanent sections of low level loop, patterned berber, cut pile carpet installed direct gluedown and stretch-in.  Also, minor, accessible delamination repairs & others.  No pre-requisite is required.  For those with RRT certification; this day will hone-in your skills regardless of your level of expertise:  Are you at the Entry level; Capable level or Proficient level?  Students WILL leave with carpet repair skills that they WILL be able to put into practice immediately.  Your R.O.I. (return on investment) should be very quick after taking this focused skill acquisition day.  New tools & techniques will also be introduced during this workshop!  Space is limited.  (max. 15 students)   1 Continued Education Credit



Trauma & Crime Scene Remediation (MR 211)


MR 211 is a comprehensive course covering trauma scene cleanup and decontamination. Attendees will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge required to properly evaluate, clean and decontaminate a site following a human trauma and/or crime scene event.  Length: 2 Days   Certification: RSA
