The Express Team
Bill:
Co/owner and president.
He has been in the cleaning business for over 18 years. Ran his own successful carpet cleaning and restoration business for 7 years before becoming a partner with Nate over 8 years ago. Tries to keep up to date in the field of new products and techniques.
Likes to maintain a personal relationship with his customers. Every once in a while he'll put on a shop apron and work in the back (don't laugh he does.)
Loves to hunt and fish, so you won't find him in the office much during hunting season, and during the summer months he enjoys family outings on the boat.
Nate:
Co/owner and Vice President.
He has over 30 years of real world experience in the field of carpet and upholstery cleaning, water and fire damage restoration. Nate has built and operated four cleaning and restoration firms over the years, all of which are still operating today. Nate has been a mentor for many of our customers, so he's great at answering any question related to our field, and has many battle proven ways of promoting your business.
Nate is our go to guy. If you need information he finds it, having 25 years worth of contacts in this industry with various vendors and manufacturers. So if you're looking for something, he'll find it for you. Problem solving is what Nate does and our customers know they can call on him day or night for advice.
Nate is also a paleontologist and the director of the Judith River Dinosaur Institute in Malta Montana. You can follow Nate at his other job researching dinosaurs at: www.montanadinosaurdigs.com
Morgan:
Has been in the cleaning industry for 6 years, his background is in automotive service and fabrication. He has the patience of several men, and can walk almost any customer through a difficulty. If you bring your van in for service, Morgan can find the problem without too many grumbles. People trust him and he has a way of developing relationships with his clients.
Morgan is industry certified in small engine and truck mount repair, and has won several regional awards. Morgan loves to tinker, he always has a project car or truck that he's restoring or just fixing up.
Micah:
Micah has grown up around the carpet cleaning / restoration industry. His dad started his own carpet cleaning business in Sturgis, SD in 1968. He swore he would never make it a living but here he is and has said it's been one of the most rewarding things he has done. He has also had the opportunity to work on hundreds of fire and water losses and has cleaned over 1,000,000 sq. ft of carpet. He is here to help with problems from marketing to what has worked for him on pet odor.
Free time? What free time! His daughters Makayla and Cady have kept him busy with trips to the park.
Steve:
Steve Swan has been in the cleaning and restoration industry for over 30 years. He started Swan’s Cleaning and Restoration in the Bellingham, WA area in 1973, and ran it as a highly successful multi-truck company until he sold it in 2005. He has been active in the training and education side of the industry since 1981 when he started teaching as a Dri-eaz instructor. He has also been on the committees for several IICRC standards. He remains one of the top WRT and ASD instructors in the industry, combining a vast knowledge base with an engaging wit and engrossing teaching style.
He joined us at Express at the beginning of this year as a partner and the Manager of our new Missoula store. He is an excellent resource for all types of cleaning and restoration questions.
In his spare time, Steve enjoys hunting and spending time with his wife, Nina.
Jamin:
Jamin has over 10 years of cleaning experience, 4 of those years were spent with his dad slaving away for the family business, 5 years working on a cleaning crew in Billings, and 1 year answering calls and pulling orders here at Express.
Jamin is our question and answer person for many cleaning questions. He knows the lines well, and has good field experiences backing up his answers.
Most of your orders will be boxed and shipped by him. Occasionally we let him turn a wrench with Morgan in the shop.
Jamin enjoys video games and sleeping in, and occasionally arguing his point, a trait he gets from his dad Bill.
